Trepat plays “La flor de la Canela”
I’ve been impressed by the arrangement of this classical and by the brilliant
playing that Carles Trepat has published on his You Tube channel. Enjoy it!

Today we have started a new series specially designed for children. I hope it will have at least the same succes that TYGOTC series, wicch have been followed by thousands of people from elsewhere in the world.
If you teach guitar to children, you know how much important is to make they feel comfortable with classical music, and the influence that it can have in their lives.
I hope that these sessions will be useful for you, and if you likes, tell me!

Pay me a coffee!Radio Clásica, the Spanish public classical music station, issued last saturday an a series of four contemporary pieces called “Breverías”, by Madrilenian composer Alfonso Casanova, which I had recorded the previous summer. Its name, “Breverías” refers to the short duration (breve= short).
If you like contemporary music written specifically for guitar, you can listen here
Radio Clásica, starting just at 15 th minute This program talks about summer music courses, an appropriate theme for this season .. Enjoy the music!
These days I payed a visit to ourfriend Juan Alvarez, one of the craftsmen that are maintaining the most renowned industry of Madrid city: Spanish guitars.
Alvarez is one of those people who continue to work as people did a century ago, a true artist working in the heart of a huge, extremly noisy city. But also very close to Museo del Prado, wich sure has some influence…
You can see here the craftsmen workshop, with Juan Alvarez (dressed in blue), the composer Alfonso Casanovas and myself.
Now, I play with one of his guitars…
